Identity, philosophy, emotions and dreams
The artistic work is concentrated around the portrait, the questions related to the appearance of the face and the related context. My works focus on themes of identity, philosophy, emotions, dreams and supports a dialogue between photography and digital art. It is an investigation into a deeper and more hidden human layer.
Everything I create is the result of a miscellany drawn from an existential quest, which is increasingly conscious of my inner self, my being, my experiences and that is what I want to convey through my creativity. An intimate and personal work. I don’t begin with a series in mind of a title for an image. Rather, the series or title reveals itself afterwards. Each image, and series of images, has a story of its own, related to my experience in my life, yet also independent of me.
From the digital arts I highlight the new practices and different artistic options with which to experience artistic expression in different ways, passive digital art, interactive, also participatory although my works are more centrated into the passive category. It is interesting for me to experiment and learn new techniques. I like to have the idea that there is always something new to discover, this feeling that makes me create with passion.
