    About the artist

    Gloria L. Jaramillo Grajales (GLOJAG) was born in Manizales, Colombia 1983. Throughout her life she has been fascinated by images, textures, photography and vibrant colors, influences that led her to choose her career. She studied Visual design at the Caldas University in Manizales and later did a Master's in Design Management at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Bogotá, where she lived since 2007. Moving to Chia in 2012 where she formally began developing artistic creation, exploring different techniques and materials, characterized mainly by making compositions in digital art which in some cases also works with different materials after the work is printed. She currently lives in Madison, New Jersey, where she enjoys being surrounded by nature, the magic of the seasons and above all, the great cultural diversity.

    Gloria's work transmits emotions and events of her life and the people around her through abstract colors and shapes.

    Gloria believes that all people have the possibility to express their own creative being through artistic expressions. She enjoys encouraging others to discover their artistic abilities and to encourages them to achieve this through the meaning of color and graphic elements express their emotions.

    Since 2002 she has worked in graphic design projects for different companies mainly in Colombia. In 2013 she had her first exhibition at the Home Fair organized by Corferias Bogotá. In 2014 two of her works; "Reguero de alegría" dimension of 135 x 135 cm and "Sembrando ciudad" dimension of 200 x 135 cm were selected to be published in the Hidden Treasure Art Magazine Yearbook. Since 2015 her work has been exhibited in the Conexionista (Virtual Art Gallery of Colombia) and in 2017 her work "Alegría del amor - intervenido" dimension of 90 x 30 cm was selected for the exhibition of emerging Colombian artists during ColombiaFEST New York.
