    About the artist

I'm a spanish illustrator based in Madrid.

I have always been attracted to fanzine and comic illustration as well as the late 60s and early 70s psychedelic art. The main factors of this type of illustration are the line and the vibrant colors.

On one hand, when I'm working, I try to attach importance to the "line" instead of the "paint", and I've alway been more confortable drawing than painting. The work that I've been developing in the last months it's focused in the association of the abstract nature of the "line" with the human figure. As a result, my pieces are marked by the use of surealist and morbid figures. I could consider my art as a form of impressionism with predominance of the line above the color.

On the other hand, I usually use acrylic paints for the color, since they allow me to reach more vibrant and flamboyant colors, strongly associated with the 60s and 70s psychedelic art.
