    1974: Born in Barcelona

    Israel Ariño (Barcelona, 1974)

    He studied photography at the Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia (IEFC), where he also works in the Department of Historical Archives of the same center, the various collections positivando school. Supplemented his education with several workshops (Manel Esclusa, Llorenç Raich, Castro Prieto, Plossu Bernard, M. Szulc Kryzanowski, Pablo Ortiz Monasterio ...). He studied printmaking and sculpture at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona.
    He exhibits regularly in Spain and particularly in France, which provides more continuous contacts with the world of photography. His work is in numerous public and private collections. In 2006 decided to create the publisher Les Editions Impossibles dedicated to the publication of art books. A year later, created with Regis Arcangela, Marti Llorens, Xavier Mulet and Rebecca Atelieretaguardia Mutell the collective. Help support the research group Confluències (Casanova and Jorge Ramon Egea).
