Jaak Kaevats (1988) is a MA candidate at the Interface Cultures Lab in Austria. As an interaction designer he works collaboratively across disciplines researching the implications and possible applications of emerging technologies, developing interfaces and environments in the intersection of technology, society and human condition. Previously he has worked at ART+COM in Berlin and been a researcher at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences in Japan.
He has exhibited internationally. Among others at: EXPO 2010 (Shanghai), ECA (Edinburgh), MuseumsQuartier (Vienna), Austrian Sculpturepark (Graz), Perla-Mode (Zürich), Design Museum (Tallinn), IAMAS (Ogaki), Science Gallery (Dublin), Saatchi Gallery (London) and Ars Electronica Festival (Linz).
