    About the artist

Born in Berkeley, CA - 1959

Heavily influenced by the San Francisco Bay Area abstract expressionist movements of the late 60's and 70's, surrealism, post war and modern art movements. Studied art in public school at Piedmont High School in Piedmont, CA from the age of 12 through 17 under Bryan Smith and Donaldina Cameron, where he was a classmate of the world renowned sculptor Mario Chiodo. Studied at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, the University of the Pacific, Santa Clara University and Saint Mary's College of California where he studied film and television and was a jazz DJ at the college radio station KSMC.

Quote "People ask me how long does it take to make one of your pieces?" I say - "How long does it take to make a chocolate bar - if you take into account having the proper equipment, gathering the right ingredients, having the know how, and creating the proper conditions? An hour? A day? A week? A lifetime?"
