Liliana Zaharia is a Fine Art photographer, born in Bucharest, Romania in 1990. Liliana works with digital and analogue photography, using different mediums in accordance to the project. Liliana completed BA in Fine Art Photography at London Metropolitan University in 2013, with a final project documenting the rural life in Romania’s countryside. She has participated in group exhibitions at Red Gallery, CRE8 gallery, and Daniel Libeskind Space, as well as solo at Marsh Ruby in London.
As a new graduate, Liliana has undertaken a career as a professional photographer, expanding to a successful business in just a couple of years. She has returned to her personal projects in 2016, with an interest in documentary and fine art photography. The emphasis in her photographs is on the everyday life and the mundane, discovering her identity through the people and places around her. Her work is greatly influenced by Nan Goldin, Laura Pannack, William Eggleston and Wolfgang Tillmans.
