    About the artist

Masu Cirujano was born in 1965 in Madrid (Spain).

Her experience with painting emerges through the influence of his father an artist painter. She started as a self-taught artist when she was 14 years old attending classes and some painting workshops.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Fashion Design and a working experience as a graphic designer in recognized publishers.

It was in 2009 when she decided to dedicate herself only to painting. She founded her own Art Center called LUNA:R where she teaches and organizes painting and craft workshops.

From the beginning, she is focused on experimentation and on the study of the multiple possibilities of mixed media and collage. In her work there is no limit in the use of materials such as oil, acrylic, wood, metal, fabric, plaster and everyday objects.

Her artworks hide stories that become unique pieces transmitting singular anecdotes. The artist expresses her vision of reality by joining together the unlimited elements that bring about each of her artworks. For the artist, a blank canvas is a gift, an empty space where an idea or an emotion can be shaped.
