He was born in Villena, Alicante, in 1974
Roberto López studied fine arts and industrial-graphic design at the Escola d'art i Superior de Disseny D'alcoi and was awarded a scholarship by the INJUVE (Instituto de la Juventud) from 2000 to 2002. Also expanded his training school post-graduates of the ECCA (School of composition and creation of Alcoy). His work is multidisciplinary and works with different media depending on the proposals to be developed; painting, installation, sculpture, sound, etc.
His works have shown at spaces such as; Círculo de Bellas Artes, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza or Auditorio Nacional of Madrid, IVAM Institut Valencia d'art Modern in Valencia, Center of contemporary art DA2 in Salamanca, Musée d'Art Contemporain of Bordeaux or at the Proshansky Auditorium in New York.
