    1980: Was born in Poland

    Zorka Wollny was born in 1980. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow where she is currently completing a PhD. She is also a junior lecturer at the Academy of Arts in Szczecin. She cooperates with the leading Polish modern art institutions. 

    In 2007, she represented Poland at the European artists' exhibition in Brussels. She has twice held a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, an
    d has won the Eugeniusz Geppert Award for her achievements in painting. In 2009 she was nominated to the Deutsche Bank Award for the best young artist, and was Artist of the Year of the Arteon art magazine in 2010. Her projects have been presented in Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Hungary and Canada. Apart from exhibitions, she has participated in musical (Audio Art Festival in Cracow) as well as theatrical events (International Ballet Meetings in Malta Festival in PoznaÅ)
