Covering more than forty years of artistic life in Paris, the work of André Morain is offered as a  irreplaceable historical photographic chronicle.

Singular saga in which the New Realist painters alongside the Figuration Narrative, and where we find Jacques Chirac alongside Louis Cane, while the secluded Denise René Jean Arp converses with Annette Messager, Christian Boltanski.

But do not be mistaken, though André Morain is at the service of art, he is also and above all in the service of photography. His sharp eyes, stealth and incisive captures on the fly, like a Cartier-Bresson, the highlights of an artistic scene that immortalizes and restores us in its freshness and spontaneity.
