Darren Almond, part of the Young British Artist generation, exhibits approximately sixty pieces of photography, sculpture, paintings and audiovisual material.

An exhibition featuring the essential themes of his work: time and history.

Darren Almond is one of the most acclaimed creators of the generation known as Young British Artists, which revolutionized the international artistic landscape in the '90s. Unlike his generational peers, his work avoids extravagance and provocation to develop a complex discourse of great emotional power. Almond has worked in cinema, photography, sculpture and drawing to establish an elaborate, emotive and flexible practice that revolves around time and history, as well as the effects of industrialization.

The exhibition gathers approximately sixty pieces of medium and large-scale photography, sculpture and audiovisual projections. These include the video All Things Pass (2012), filmed in Chand Baori, the largest step well in the world. The exhibition is complemented by a series of landscapes that range from post-romantic to apocalyptic, in which time seems to have stopped.
