    from the Institute, Cho Byung Chol always was clear he wanted to devote himself to painting and follow in the footsteps of his favorite painters Van Gogh and Kim Hong Do. After studying fine arts at the University of Hong-ik (South Korea) he settled in his home village of Chon-ju belonging to the province of Chon-ra, the natural beauty and serenity of the place inspired him to paint and portray everything what he loved. The first exhibition that took place provided the vision of the artist about the different facets of everyday life in Chon-ju. His paintings still keep that realism as a mode of expression, as it perceives life.

    since 1992 has carried out successful solo and group exhibitions in a number of Korea art galleries, and has participated in festivals. In 2001 was awarded at the 4th edition of the awards without Sae Kye (Kwang-ju), in 2003 he was awarded the prize at the III Edition of artists young has Jung-Woong (Gallery of Kwang-ju) and in 2006 he was selected in the 1st Edition of the project support to artists, (Foundation of culture Woo jun).

    "Greetings-look back" is part of the activities developed in the Korean Cultural Center in order to further develop the cultural exchange between Spain and Korea.
