Marta Jarabo and Luis Amália present Furnishing temporalities / Sequencing spaces, an exhibition generating a dialogue between these two different but complementary concepts.

Furnishing temporalities explores of architecture that relates to time as opposed to space and materialised as a landscape of human and non-human forces which displace the emphasis from the object to the relation among a variety of objects, technologies, bodies, societal trends, technologies and policies.

Sequencing spaces addresses the cinematic properties of space. Architecture is represented as the sum of spaces and daily movements (routines) that take place within it. In the same way that the context delimits the architectural project, it is the architecture that delimits the mise en scène of a dramatic piece.

Marta Jarabo, an architect licensed at ETSAMadrid and the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Viena, reflects through her work on the political, economical, moral and technical transformations that affect social/spatial constructions and all aspects of day to day living.

Luis Amália, an architect licensed at ETSAMadrid and the MA Screen Acting at Drama Centre London, is fascinated by the language of movies and the scenic atmosphere. Über-fan of track-shots, the bizarre situations, the ordinary daily life bizarre situations which start not to be that bizarre, synchronized things and gymnastics.
