"Convert the landscape in a dream"

    J.M. Mellado

    "STRANGE LIGHTS AND BEAUTIFUL"

[... Some landscapes convey a sense contemplative particular, a form of serenity or even, do not be afraid to avoid the word "beauty".

Mellado Jose María is a Spanish photographers who, with the greatest force, built a visual experience of natural beauty, it is indeed "construction" because this artist has mastered the digital technology and uses it to achieve the set he wants. "I improved in light of the image - the author tells us - in the purest tradition of the darkroom to convey emotion and atmosphere of the moment."

Mellado's master of light and clouds captures landscapes with gray colors that emit the impression that something is about to happen. (....) The deserted roads, rivers and seas breathtaking, factories or vision of the city, give to see a mixture of intense poetry and strangeness. It is not anecdotal photographs, but will convert landscapes in dreams.

Somehow, Mellado illustrates the words of Paul Klee: "Art does not reproduce the visible, it makes visible" ...] - after a review of F. Castro Flórez, El Mundo, Feb 2007
