    Information

A solo exhibition by Mariana Castillo Deball, who works across sculpture, drawing, installation and design. For her Chisenhale commission, Castillo Deball draws together detailed and unlikely links between 19th-century paper moulding techniques, Mexican archeological archives and the collage work of Scottish artist Eduardo Paolozzi.

This exhibition is co-commissioned with Cove Park, where the artist is undertaking a two-part residency, and CCA Glasgow, who present the exhibition in April 2013.

Mariana Castillo Deball (born 1975, Mexico City) lives and works in Berlin. Recent solo exhibitions include Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach (2010); Kunsthalle St. Gallen (2009). Group exhibitions include ILLUMInations, the 54th Venice Biennale (2011); Migros Museum, Zurich (2010); Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit (2010); The Athens Biennial (2009); Manifesta 7 (2008).
