    Information

The exhibition 'Signs and dialogue "explores the architectural and building social Museu Can Framis and Barcelona 22 @ district in which the building is inserted, through a multidisciplinary approach to photography and contemporary visual creation. The exhibition, a collaboration between the Fundació Vila Casas ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, ??presents a selection of projects of the students of the Master in Photography and Design and the Postgraduate Diploma in Design, Photography and Architecture.

The press conference of presentation of photography project will take place in the auditorium of Espai Volart on Thursday, June 6 at 12 am and will be chaired by Peter Vincent, director of the Master in Photography and Design ELISAVA, Gloria Bosch, art director Fundació Vila Casas, and guardians of the project, the artists Diego Jordi Bernado and Ferrari.

Students use the image as a tool and means to interpret and investigate the architectural spaces from multiple and divergent views as emotional, industrial, physical and conceptual. The work described poses different actions on the architectural space: from topographic analysis of industrial profiles of 22 @ to documentary pieces on the social history of the district, through interventions in Can Framis.

The result of these readings heterogeneous aims to create an equivalence between object, space, body and photographic representation as elements of interdependent values ??with which the viewer interacts and responds to an established relationship between space and the desire to articulate a meaning within the context of photographic representation. Thus, the photograph becomes a tool not only to present but to represent. And is that the photographic image is not a likeness: two identical objects are not necessarily each other image.
