- Gabriel Pericàs
InformationThe Nipple Slip Speech Performance is based on an exercise in narrative speculation centered on three key concepts: distraction, mishap and shifting attention. It involves a game of perception where a secondary element, or something that simply should not have happened, becomes a focal point that eclipses any other message.
Using a fragmented storyline and inspired by the media phenomenon called the “nipple slip”, Gabriel Pericàs analyzes different aspects of oversight and absentmindedness, progressing toward the accident, in a series o small sculptures, photographs and video work scattered throughout the space. As a complement to the exhibition, a performance will be held at the Espai 13 during January of 2013.
