The Italian photographer Claudia Cosentino captures the intimate atmosphere of portrait photography.

Claudia Cosentino's intimate gaze
Siena - AUG 09, 2013

When Claudia Cosentino went back to her native Siena she found herself confronted with solitude. Alone and bored, she began experimenting with photography as a way to fill her days. Time passed and she continue to improve her technique and her images are proof of that.

This young italian photographer has a sensitivity for capturing the atmosphere of privacy. Her models expose themselves in those moments of solitude and self reflection, staring into space and deep in thought. When they turn their gaze towards her camera, she shows looks of complicity and mutual understanding, all in a body of work that shows her ability to capture "intimate atmospheres and strong feelings."
