DHUB will host D-IVE, the first Mobile Photo Festival in Spain on the 19, 20, and 21 of April.

In only 3 years, Instagram has made mobile photography a new way to communicate. This form of photography, for some the logical evolution of digital photography, has a comitted international community. 

In order to confirm its existence as a consolidated artistic practice, this weekend will take place in Barcelona D-IVE, the first Mobile Photo Festival in Spain. The event will take place on April 19, 20 and 21st in the new DHUB

With the intention of becoming an important event for mobile photography enthusiasts, the first edition of the festival will feature some of the leading representatives worldwide, like Atle RønningenVuThéara KhamThomas KakarekoMónica Calzada, and Tom Nußbaum, all of them known Igers or people that use Instagram.

Atle Rønningen:

Member of AMPt and founder of the group DroidEdit (Android Editors), Atle is one of the defenders of photography with Android devices, as well as one of the foremost experts on the subject. Creator of the #lumiforms and renowned in the industry.

VuThéara Kham:

Of Asian origin, VuThéara is one of the mobile photograpgers with a major number of followes in France. Among his many accomplishments are having exhibited in SoHo NYC Gallery and Gallery Templon in Paris, as well as being invited by the Government of Israel to take part in a photo project. The publisher La Martiniere will publish a book with the highlights of his work.

Thomas Kakareko:

Member of AMPtWeAreJuxt and IGers Berlín, Thomas is the German mobile photographer with the largest number of followers and one of the most important Street Photographers right now. The figures and poetry of his images speak for themselves.

Tom Nußbaum:

Tom has a passion for design and typography and always tries to combined them. His favorite shape is the triangle and Tom uses it en his images like a water mark that representes "the lover of nature". He always looks for subtlety and minimalism in his designs and editions, and tries to explain a story through editions and photography or lets typography explains it for him. Tom has always liked to experiment with apps, especially with ArtsStudio. Not day goes by without the use of an app one way or another. @tomlovesyou is the only member of Android Editors that uses both Android and iOS.
