TrustoCorp's high quality, radical street art

The art collective called TrustoCorp has been creating street art pranks satirizing American life and culture since 2010. The group has maintained its anonymity despite their fame in the media.

They began creating product labels and packaging to later place them in and amongst real products on store shelves. These interventions almost blend in with their surroundings but the satirical texts transmit a very direct and political message.

Some of their most famous pranks are imitation street signs, which they attached to posts in cities across the US. The signs are made of metal and designed to look similar to official street signs. Each sign pokes fun at different elements of American culture. Among them the themes they touch are the fast food industry, big business, the financial sector and religion.

Their style is retro-kitsch look, combining retro styles with design of actual products and street elements. All their work shows a balance between the whimsical design and the political and social commentary.
