Rébecca Dautremer exhibition at the Museum ABC
Madrid - MAY 26, 2011
Rébecca Dautremer, the famous French illustrator, presents his latest work at Madrid's hand Edelvives, editorial responsibility for publication of the last two works illustrated by artist: Alice in Wonderland and Secret Diary of Tom Thumb.

The exhibition will be open from May 28 to June 19 , coinciding with the Madrid Book Fair. In it, Edelvives has collected 25 original illustrations by Rebecca that recreate the classic Perrault and Lewis Carroll.

Those attending the exhibition will immerse themselves in the magical world that the artist has created for Alice in Wonderland and be impregnated by the melancholy that oozes the look of your character, much closer to the character of Carroll's Alice story Animated present in the collective imagination.

Secret Diary of Tom Thumb is the result of joint work by Philippe Lechermeier illustrator and author of the extension of Perrault's classic tale. The work reveals a much more daring Rébecca and varied artistic expression as their humorous adaptation of the text has made it possible to address a variety of graphic techniques.

Thus, the ABC Museum exhibition draws on works produced by the classic style of the illustrator, combined with pencil illustrations, cartoons, drawings and collages that allow visitors to glimpse a different side and fascinating in the career of Rebecca.
